Krifty Glow custom commissions are fully one-of-a-kind handmade pieces built just for you — candles, resin art, mixed media, and more. Some pieces are simple. Others, like the turtle and butterfly display, are a 10-step process using multiple molds with cure time between every single step. Every custom order gets the same care and attention to detail as everything else we make.

⚠️ You must contact us before placing a custom order. Pricing is set per item based on complexity and materials — most custom pieces range from $40–$100. Do not place an order without reaching out first so we can confirm your design and give you an accurate price.

How It Works

1. Contact us first — describe your idea, share any inspiration photos, and tell us your color preferences and any details that matter to you.
2. We'll confirm whether we can make it and give you a price.
3. Once you approve, we get to work.
4. You pay when your piece is fulfilled — before it ships. No payment is collected upfront.
5. If we can't bring your vision to life, you will not be charged. Period.

Timing

• Custom orders are not on hand — every piece is made from scratch just for you.
• Depending on complexity, custom orders can take up to 3 weeks to complete.
• Multi-step pieces (like turtle or butterfly displays) require cure time between each step and cannot be rushed.
• We'll keep you updated throughout the process!

About Our Resin

All Krifty Glow resin pieces are made with East Coast Resin, a U.S.-based resin company. According to the manufacturer, their resin is food safe and has a thermal threshold of approximately 120–140°F, making it more similar to glass than standard plastic. We encourage customers to research East Coast Resin directly if they wish to learn more about the material.

⚠️ Heat & Safety Warning

• Use battery-operated tealight candles only. Do not place real flame candles in or on resin holders.
• Electrical safety : do not expose the power cord or light base to water. Do not leave plugged in unattended for extended periods. Keep out of the reach of children and pets 
• Melting and warping: Direct heat from a tealight flame or hot metal cup can soften the resin, causing the holder to deform or indent.
• Toxic fumes: Heating cured epoxy past its thermal threshold can release hazardous VOCs and unpleasant smoke.
• Fire hazard: Resin is a plastic-based material and can catch fire if exposed directly to a naked flame.
• Extreme heat warning: Do not leave resin items in hot cars, direct sunlight, or warm windowsills. Store in a cool, shaded location.
• Sharp edges: Resin pieces may have fine edges or details. Handle with care, especially around children.

  • Never leave burning candles unattended.
  • Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
  • Burn on a heat-resistant surface.
  • Extreme heat warning: Do not leave in hot cars, direct sunlight, or warm windowsills — wax and resin can soften and deform.
  • Trim wick to ¼ inch before each burn.
  • Keep wax pool free of debris.

Safe Alternatives

• LED tealights (recommended): Use battery-operated electronic tealights to safely illuminate resin pieces without heat damage.
• Glass inserts: If using a real flame, ensure the tealight sits inside a thick, heat-resistant glass cup that completely buffers the resin from heat and flame, or at least a tin as the picture shows.

Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and prolonged direct sunlight to preserve color and finish.
